Major gifts present an opportunity to make a substantial and ongoing contribution to the mission of the foundation and are named in honor of the donor. Major gifts may be endowed gifts in which the gift principle is restricted from use and the investment income is used to fund the activity, or the gift may be unrestricted so that the donation directly funds the program.

Program Fund – ($25,000 - $50,0000)
A named gift used to support a specific activity or area of interest.

Mission Fund - ($15,000 - $25,000)
A named gift used to support the overall mission of the foundation.

Award Fund - ($50,000 - $100,000)
A named gift used to support the establishment of an award that reflects the mission of the foundation.

Grant Fund - ($50,000 - $100,000)
A named gift used to make grants to organizations that reflect the mission of the foundation.

Special Needs/ Program Development Fund ($25,000 - $50,000)
